Hi i started working for the anzac club 19 september 2008, my duties were in all areas of the club mostly i would have a monday of and generally do all clearances on weekends. I also worked a second job for the catholic club from 7.04.2009 i would generally work luch and dinner shift monday to thursay and would do all on job training, working from hott buffet and one cook. I had returned to sporting stadiums were a had first learnt the operations of a bar at the sydney turf club and scg. I was encouraged to do attional work as a waitress for small private partys such as weddings.
After some years, I did receive a full time job for harbour diggers that was in 2011. It was my first 24hr venue as a permanent employee.
I worked in the bistro, main bar and gamming.
I in return worked towards a goal that I did reach by relocating to Melbourne, there was a lot of opportunity each hotel through the ALH group contacted myself and I attened and started at the waltzing Matilda.
My licence did take a couple of weeks to arrive in the post how ever other certificates I updated on line.
The compass group seen my resume and asked me to work at 1 of there sites named the Elizabeth center, the hours were long 7.45am to 1.30pm then 4.30 to 8pm and that was a 3 week on roster.
My duties were kitchen cleaning schedule, fridge stock and breakfast stock replenishment, service of prepared foods for clients, and fresh salad preparation and sandwichmaking, I would do a hot coffee run when i arrived.
